These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Island Research website and your purchase of any products offered through it. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site or place an order.

In these Terms, "Island Research," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Island Research Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company and the operator of this website. "You" refers to the individual or entity placing an order or otherwise using the site.

2. Eligibility & account

To place an order you must be at least 21 years of age, legally able to form a binding contract, and acquiring products in a professional or research capacity. By ordering you represent that all information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to make the purchase. We may refuse service to anyone who does not meet these requirements.

A registered customer account is required to place an order — guest checkout is not available. During checkout you must also select the research field or application for which you are acquiring the materials (for example Pharmacology, Molecular Biology, or Medicinal Chemistry), provide the name of your company or institution, and affirmatively acknowledge that the products shall not be used for human or veterinary therapeutic purposes and are for laboratory research use only. We retain a record of these acknowledgments with your order.

3. Products & documentation

Product descriptions, images, purity figures, and Certificate of Analysis ("CoA") data are provided for reference. Where a third-party CoA is connected to a listing, the identity and purity values shown are drawn from that certificate; listings without a connected certificate display a documentation slot until analytical results are added. We work to keep catalog information accurate but do not warrant that every description, image, or specification is complete, current, or error-free. Lyophilized and solubilized research materials are supplied in the formats described on each product page.

4. Pricing & payment

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are research-use reference prices. Order totals are calculated by our server from the catalog and the options you select; the price shown in your browser is for display only and the final total, shipping, and any applicable taxes are confirmed at checkout. We accept payment by credit/debit card and by cryptocurrency through our third-party payment processors. We never see or store your full card number — card data is handled directly by the processor.

An order is only accepted and eligible for fulfillment once payment is verified and received (a successful card capture or a confirmed cryptocurrency payment). A charge may appear on your statement under the billing descriptor ISLAND RESEARCH LABS. We reserve the right to correct any pricing error and to cancel and refund any order affected by an obvious error before it ships.

5. Orders & acceptance

Your submission of an order is an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline any order, in whole or in part, at our discretion — including where we suspect the products are intended for a prohibited use, where we cannot verify the order, where an item is out of stock, or where shipping to your location is restricted. If we decline an order after payment, we will issue a refund for the declined portion.

6. Prohibited uses

You agree that you will not, and will not permit anyone else to:

• use, consume, administer, or apply any product in or on the human or animal body;
• resell, distribute, relabel, or repackage products for human or veterinary use, or represent them as safe or approved for such use;
• use the products in violation of any applicable law, regulation, or institutional policy;
• misrepresent your identity, age, or the intended research use of the products;
• access the site through automated means to scrape, disrupt, or interfere with its operation, or attempt to breach its security.

7. Your legal responsibility

You are solely responsible for knowing and complying with all laws and regulations that apply to purchasing, importing, possessing, handling, storing, and disposing of research materials in your jurisdiction. Legality varies by country, state, and locality. It is your responsibility — not ours — to confirm that a product may lawfully be shipped to and received at your address before you order.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

Products are provided "as is" and "as available" for research use only, with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We expressly disclaim any warranty of fitness for human or veterinary use, because no such use is authorized. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Island Research and its owners, officers, employees, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from misuse of the products. Our total liability for any claim relating to a product or order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Island Research and its owners, officers, employees, and suppliers from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the products, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

11. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of the site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Suffolk County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when the current version took effect. Changes apply to orders placed after they are posted; continuing to use the site means you accept the updated Terms.
